Inaugural KSMT ‘celtic rave’ is major success

The inaugural Celtic Rave for Kirsten took place on Saturday 18 February 2012 at the Battersea Arts Centre and was a roaring success.

An amazing total of £16,000 was raised, through ticket sales, raffle and cake sale. The sold-out event brought together 450 of Kirsten’s friends, friends-of-friends, colleagues and family in a memorable evening of ceilidh dancing, with music provided by Licence to Ceilidh.

It was the combined effort of many to pull this event off so successfully – but particular thanks to all the organising committee, the bakers, everyone who donated prizes for the raffle (which included amazing prizes from London 2012 tickets to a Hugo Boss watch), and Aberdeen Asset Management for their contribution.
