Support for the HOPE Project

The Trust has supported the HOPE Project (www.thehopeproject.co.uk), a charitable initiative set up by two Edinburgh University students, Rory Dowie and Ollie Robinson.

The project is designed to raise awareness and funds for the charity, Hope For Children. Hope for Children (HOPE) helps Homeless, Orphaned, Poor and Exploited children worldwide. Across 3 continents and 9 countries it helps children without food, water, schools, homes, and vital medicine. It also protects and rescues victims of child trafficking.

KSMT have supported Rory to enable him to participate in the grueling Marathon Des Sables 2014, known as “the toughest foot race on Earth”. In April 2014, Rory will cover 156 miles on foot, across the Sahara Desert. All his sponsorship fundraising will go to HOPE.HOPE-TWITTER
